Ani Marie Spa Radio Frequency Lipo Sculpt Cavitation Metrodeal voucher

www.lazada.com.ph

I bought several lipo cavitation and radio frequency combo treatments from Metrodeal. It was worth 99 each. Ani Marie Spa is located in Metrowalk Ortigas on the 2nd floor. If you're going there, you're not gonna miss it. Just go up the stairs and walk towards the middle of the area and you should see it there. It's actually more of beauty parlor than a "spa".

Their services are okay. Nothing really spectacular but nothing to be angry about. Like most of the services that are offered in Metrodeal, you first have to make an appointment. This is a total must if you would buy any Ani Marie voucher deal from Metrodeal. (I am not sure if they have also partnered with Ensogo). If you look at the counter of the number of vouchers bought, you'd see that there are literally thousands sold. So logically, scheduling for an appointment can be horrendous in a sense that, say if you call today to make an appointment, most probably you will be booked on the next month if you are lucky. The good thing about making a reservation with Ani Marie is that they immediately answer the phone. That's a biggie to tell the truth because it's not really common for businesses like this.

The ambiance is typical of a beauty parlor. No plush seats here mind you so do not expect any. When I got for my 1st lipo cavitation appointment, I was late for 10minutes but it did not became an issue. They just told me to wait for a couple of minutes and then I was told to follow the girl who was going to do the lipo cav treatment on me.

Basically the lipo cavitation treatment is done not on the main parlor where you would enter. The personnel would lead you to a small closed kiosk at the back of Metrowalk. No, it doesn't sound as frightening as you are thinking. But if you want a posh place to have your lipo cav treatment then the Ani Marie Spa is definitely not for you. It's not dirty or anything, it's just basic and functional.

The Ani Marie person who assisted me was nice. She talks to you if you talk to her and does not ask unnecessary or personal questions which for me is a necessity. I tend not to go back to beauty parlors, spas, etc. when the people who perform their services ask me personal questions. I do not go for "parlor talk". No. Just no.

It is also worth mentioning that normally they would recommend to use up 2 Metrodeal vouchers in 1 treatment. So it is going to be 20mins radio frequency treatment and another 20mins for the lipo cavitation treatment. If it would be your first time to undergo the said treatments then I suggest for you to expect a lot of perspiring. :P It's going to be 40mins of kneading. Imagine a warm flat metal used to knead your tummy for 40mins. My lower back was sweating. :P

After the treatment, I felt flabby. Well, what I mean by this is that after the treatments, your tummy would feel "loosened up". My tummy felt wiggly. You will not be allowed to eat an hour after the treatments. I really was not able to monitor if there were inches removed from my waistline but it seemed to have done its purpose.

Wensha Spa Antipolo - Metrodeal voucher deal

Saturday, March 15, 2014
FILTHY. DIRTY. DISGUSTING. These are the most appropriate words to describe Wensha Spa Antipolo. They do not allow taking photos inside the establishment and I completely understand why. They do not want any evidence as to how disgusting this place is! But I guess, it is not enough to say that it's disgusting without any description so here...

Upon entering Wensha Spa, you'll be welcomed with a queue for slippers and robe. So, of course, the first thing that will come into your mind is, I must queue as well but where would I present my printed Metrodeal vouchers? Anyway, when I finally got my turn, I just said I have a Metrodeal voucher, and the man took it and gave me my slippers and robe and a key to a locker and then I was told that taking pictures is not allowed. I thought, okay that's fine. I do not want to take photos of myself in the nude anyway.

I went to the locker area which is disgusting. Okay, I know, be more descriptive... Upon entering Wensha Spa's locker area, you will be welcomed by mounds of dirty towels on one side, clean towels on the other, towels on the floor, slippers on the floor, trails of water on the floor. I thought, oh my... wtf?!

I found my locker, shoved my things inside and searched for a toilet. DISGUSTING! The toilet on Wensha Spa's locker area makes you afraid of getting a disease. SERIOUSLY. It was a small toilet room, stinking and reeking of the smell of piss, with a volcano of toilet paper. Volcano? YES. Because it is a mound which kinda exploded! And before I forget to mention it, the floor tiles were wet... Not with water because there's no water. With what then? Make a wild guess!

I thought of trying the jacuzzi so I headed there immediately. Bad idea. You're not supposed to wear anything when you go for a dip in the jacuzzi so basically what this means is that you should let other people's dirt seep into your skin. You read that right. I dipped one of my feet and then I saw soapy dirt (?!) floating in the water, and then automatically pulled out my feet. There was a group of women on the other pool and thought... is that dirt floating on the water theirs or someone else's? I just wanted to cry.

I just checked each and every pool and finally decided to stay in one far from everybody. Loner? By choice! I went to Wensha Spa to feel clean, to relax, and to feel good. I did not stay for long in the jacuzzi though as I still had that picture of floating soapy dirt, in my mind.

I did not try the sauna because I don't like saunas so I can't make a comment on that. It's also located near the jacuzzis and not a lot of women were trying it as well.

They have a separate floor to have your massage and of course, you have to queue again. I have to admit that the massage I received was awesome! It was an hour of bliss. But nothing is perfect. After the massage, I was given a paper. It's for tips. I always give tips when the service I receive is to my liking. I do not like being demanded for tips though, and that was how it felt like. And it totally felt like it when I was already checking out, and the girl who gave me a massage was waiting at the counter, looking at how much I would write on the paper.

The food, you say? Bland. Nothing worth mentioning. Just food. Something to fill your stomach that is already churning from disgust of everything you have just seen.

Movie Star Cafe's Dino Buffet - Metrodeal Voucher Deal

Metrodeal has already offered voucher deals for Movie Star Cafe several times, and for good reason! I've tried it a long time ago and bought the voucher for Php399 for the Midnight buffet. It was a pleasant experience for me.

I did not mind that the Movie Star Cafe's midnight buffet starts at 10pm and lasts only until 2am. I go out at work at around 9pm so I thought that the schedule was perfect! It's located in SM Moa and you can easily spot it. Metrodeal also provides a location map so if you have the voucher printed, you'd have no issues finding the place.

When we got there, I was totally delighted! You can easily what's happening from the outside of Movie Star Cafe and what welcomed me was awesome. Their crew were singing songs from Les Miserables (which is one of my most loved musicals) with matching costume!!! I was like a little kid in a toy store. :D

I just had one issue though it was my fault. I totally forgot that I have to make a reservation online at Movie Star Cafe's website!!! Basically, I just got there and thought that I can just go ahead, watch, and eat. Nope! First, you must make a reservation 3 days in advance. In any case, when we got there, that was the first thing Snow White (the waitress) asked me. Do I have a reservation? Well, err... no. Sorry? Snow White just smiled and asked me if it's okay if we just sit outside (they also have tables outside for smokers and people like who do not have reservations) because all their seats are reserved. I agreed and thought it a non-issue since I can also watch the shows from there.

Movie Star Cafe Crew Dancing on the stage in the middle of the resto

How about the food? Food is great. If you're going to Movie Star Cafe, I highly recommend trying their Beef Salpicao. I loved it. I think what I can suggest is for their crew to refill the food trays (not sure what you call those stainless thingies) as soon as they see that not much is left. I am one of those persons who wait for everybody to take their turn, and when the queue is already short, that's when I take my turn. Bad idea! True to the Filipino style, the queue to the buffet was really long and people were shoveling mountains of food on their plate! 0.0 People... you can go back if you want more!!!

Well... anyway... When I was finally able to get food, not much was left and the Movie Star Cafe crew were walking around looking busy and perhaps thinking, when is the food from the kitchen coming? I basically made do with what was left but it was fine. As I have mentioned, the beef salpicao is nice. I also tried the sausages and tempura and find them okay. The voucher deal also includes unlimited drinks so that is really awesome. :P I think I have ordered four glasses of fresh mango shake throughout the night.

As for the Snow White, Tinker Belle, Darth Vader, Iron Man, Captain America (who looks very Filipino by the way :P), Spider Man, Venom, Edward Scissorhands... They were awesome! I just wish Darth Vader would not act effeminate. I mean... He is supposed to be Darth Vader!!! If you're wearing a costume, you should act the part! I understand Tinker Belle (with the words "I like little boys" or something to that effect embroidered in his/her clothes), he/she cannot help it. I will not forgive Darth Vader though. Oh and yeah, Iron Man is short. I am taller than he is and I stand 5'4.

If you like taking photos then Movie Star Cafe is picture-picture galore haven! :p They have life-size storm troopers, Shrek, etc. There are a lot of things to see!

So was the Metrodeal voucher deal worth the deal? :P Definitely! For 399, I had a plate of Beef Salpicao, tempura, and sausages. (I can't eat more) I also had 4 glasses of fresh mango shake. I truly enjoyed the show that they provided. And I would definitely wait for Movie Star Cafe to offer another deal in Metrodeal!

Tips and Tricks in buying Metrodeal, Ensogo, Beeeconomic, Ebay Kuponan, Tcat, Deal Grocer Voucher Deals

Thursday, March 13, 2014
Here is a list of some tips and tricks before and after buying voucher deals from Metrodeal, Ensogo, Beeeconomic, Ebay Kuponan, Tcat, Deal Grocer and the likes:

1. RESEARCH. If you have reached this blog before buying a voucher deal from say, Metrodeal then you're in for a good start.
  • Check the real price of the "deal". There really is a possibility that the discount that is being offered is NOT really a discount. I have found a travel deal before in Metrodeal, (sorry but I cannot remember which) where the discounted deal is not really discounted. Upon checking the resort's website, I saw that the voucher deal price posted is the same as the regular price!!! Okay, fine, it was being offered by a travel company and not the resort itself. But still! When you buy vouchers, they have a lot of limitations. They have deadlines, blocked out dates, inferior services, etc. So if you find out that you can buy the same service or product directly from the vendor, then buy from them! It is always better that way.
  • Check if the services or products being offered on the deal is really good. Actually, I have already seen a lot of products in Metrodeal, Ensogo, and Beeconomic that you can buy for less in Sulit or AyosDito. Research! Research! Don't be click-happy! Stop the impulse! Compare the prices first. Check the brand. Is it trustworthy? Think if the product being offered would last. Oh and yeah, do you really need it?
  • Look for reviews such as this blog. Look for feedback in forums. Information is all over the internet. Make use of it!
2. LIMIT PURCHASING VOUCHER DEALS! We have all done it or perhaps you are on the verge of doing it. I am also guilty of buying several vouchers that in the end I was not able to use. I don't think I am the only one who has done it. I don't think I will be the last one. If you are reading this then let it be a warning. If you are thinking that the deal may only happen just this one time so you have to buy dozens of them. Well no! There is a very high probability that that voucher deal that you want to buy will be back or even extend for a long period of time. Voucher deals or bulk buying has been a big success in the country. Most vendors who have partnered with Metrodeal, Ensogo, Tcat, etc. found that they really earn a lot and achieve awesome marketing through these voucher deals. That being said, they really come back and sign up their products / services again! So do you think you really have to buy those 10 vouchers for nail art right now? Think again.

3. RESERVE. So you have already bought that travel deal. Now what? Make your reservations early on. Perhaps it will still be 6 months before your Ensogo travel voucher expires but that does not mean you have all the time in the world to make your reservation. No! Do it right after purchasing the voucher! ASAP! Imagine how many people are buying those voucher deals. Now think how many days are in a year. How many rooms are there in the hotel / resort? Make your reservation as soon as you have your vouchers purchased to ensure that you get to pick your preferred travel days.

4. MAKE USE OF THAT PLANNER. Or notepad. Or that calendar hanging in your wall. Or the calendar in Outlook. Or the calendar or To Do List on your phone. Vouchers have expiration. Everyone knows it. Everyone forgets it. I just found out the other week that Ensogo sends out email warnings that I have vouchers that are about to expire. That feature, I really like! Not all have this feature though. Metrodeal, as far as I know, still does not have it. So just to make sure that the money you spend purchasing those vouchers deals does not get wasted, remember when all of them are going to expire. Note on your To Do List when are you supposed to have that hair rebond or massage. Remember that most of the times, if you do not arrive on your reserved date, your vouchers will be automatically forfeited. So plan ahead, be ahead!

5. SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE! Please leave me some comments below or in my other posts about your voucher purchases! I would really like to know them as a fellow deal buying addict. A lot of people will benefit if you will let them know how good or how bad are the services or products of a specific vendor in Metrodeal, Ensogo, Tcat, Kuponan, Deal Grocer, etc!

Earthly Senses Spa Ortigas - Metrodeal voucher deal

Earthly Senses Spa is located in Ortigas. If it's your first time to go there, you can find it near Megamall, San Miguel, and Lourdes School. I think the street itself is San Miguel Ave.

So should you go there? Definitely! My experience with them is terrific. Like many other service-based deals, you first have to make a phone call to make a reservation. In my case, it was a bit on the rush side but they accommodated me. I called Earthly Senses Spa, if my memory serves me right, at around 3pm. I did not wait long for somebody to answer my call AND that is already a good sign if you're used to this kind of thing already. I told them that I wanted to have my full body massage on that day at around 9pm and they just asked me to wait for a couple of seconds (to browse through their books) and then confirmed that, yes, they can squeeze me in. As far as I know, they are open until 11pm, which is awesome for people who work until late.

I got there a little bit past 9pm. I thought that they might not honor my Metrodeal voucher anymore as I came in late but it was okay. Not a word was said. :P Earthly Senses Spa's ambiance is relaxing and quiet. (I'll have to check if I was able to keep some of the photos that I took). Lights are dimmed. They have a comfy sofa where you can wait for your turn. Smell is nice. There are no noisy personnel. There was actually a staff who spoke a bit loud but was immediately hushed by somebody. It didn't even last 10 seconds! And, that is a good thing for me. I came to relax and have peace and quiet. That I received.

I cannot remember the name (I'm not good with names) of the Earthly Senses Spa girl who gave me a massage. She's a small dark slim girl who really knows how to give a mean massage! After 90mins of kneading and stroking, I felt really good! (err... did that sound right?!)

Now, I am waiting until they offer another voucher deal in Metrodeal or Ensogo or wherever!

Premiere Night Movies by Ensogo

Wednesday, March 12, 2014
I have already bought 2 voucher deals from Ensogo for their premiere night showings. The first one I bought was The Hunger Games (it was a long time ago, I know). The second one was The Hobbit + Crocodile Park Manila.

What can I say? I highly recommend it!!! :D If you are wondering how it works, well, basically you just buy the vouchers the normal way in Ensogo, print the vouchers, bring the printed vouchers with you. When you arrive at the cinema, they normally have a separate booth for those who bought Ensogo vouchers. Just ask the people around - security guards, mall personnel - where the Ensogo people are if you do not see them immediately. Present your vouchers and voila! You're in!

The good thing about buying premiere night tickets / vouchers from Ensogo is that you do not have to queue on long lines for movies such as The Hobbit or Hunger Games and then find out that the cinema is already full, which is normally the case for blockbuster movies. Of course, you still have to come in early to make sure you have the best seats! No reserved seating!

Also, I want to add that when I went to the showing of The Hobbit, there were many sponsors. They had a photo booth sponsored by some kind of lingerie company. Photos were free although it kinda looks ridiculous when printed as you have a granny undies-wearing woman right beside you on your photo. :P They were handing out valda pastilles, which I thought were not around anymore. They gave away 4 back issues of Candy magazine to me, which was okay. We were also given 2 paper bags of snacks (cheetos and the like) per person. They also gave my boyfriend some sachets of Gatsby gel. LOL

So there yah go! Next time Ensogo offers voucher deals for a movie you really want to see, I mightily suggest buying one or more! Enjoy the movie!

A Bad Case of Indochina Strings

If you have read my previous post about the deal I bought from Metrodeal a year back I believe, you'd know how much of a hassle it was for me. Apparently, I am not the only one who has suffered from their hands! :S So I am making a post again just to say again not to buy deals / vouchers which involve Indochina Strings.

Truth be told, I was tempted to buy a voucher again from Indochina Strings via Metrodeal. Come on! They have fantastic partners: Canyon Cove, Misibis Bay, Hotel St. Ellis, just to name a few. But trust me, do not succumb to the temptation. I did not. I was recently really dying to buy vouchers for their Canyon Cove deal, also in Metrodeal. It was a good thing I did not because from what I've read on the internet and in a comment here in my blog. It was also a headache. Saving money by buying deals is awesome. Sometimes though it is better to shell out a bit more money and have things hassle-free. You can also travel DIY style as I often do. (Perhaps that's what I am going to do, time-permitting, to get to Canyon Cove!) If you wish for some help with make-your-own budget trip, post a comment! I'll help you up. Just treat me with a box of Pizza Hut or Krispy Kreme! :P

If, however, you want to directly contact the vendor / partner of Indochina Strings, prepare to be disappointed. I have already tried it but it does not simply work. I respect that there are agreements between Indochina and their partners but it's just sad. To give you an example, here's a screenshot of the letter I have received from Hotel St. Ellis more than a year ago when I asked them if I could just directly pay them the amount that Indochina was offering at that time in Metrodeal. Hotel St. Ellis declined much to my disappointment. I really really REALLY wanted to stay there and go on a Misibis Day tour! Until now, I have not fulfilled that wish. :( Help, Misibis Bay? Are you hearing me? T_T

You see? :(

I do not know anymore how to explain to them that Indochina Strings just suck.

That being said. STAY AWAY FROM INDOCHINA STRINGS VOUCHER DEALS YOU SEE IN METRODEAL!!!
